Amir Nosrat I’m acting as chair of Climatable which means I coordinate and represent Climatablers as needed. Professionally, I’m a PhD Student at McGill and I study the impact of climate change risks on the energy sector. I’m pretty passionate about stabilizing the climate system before it destabilizes us. We need lots of help, so I hope you join us in our quest.

I am a board member and I participate in running programs such as the introduction to climate negotiations workshop. I have a M. Ing. in energy and sustainable development from Polytechnique Montreal, and I have been working for several years in the consulting business, specifically developing bioeconomy/circular economy projects to produce bioproducts from renewable ressources such as wood residues. I am passionate about climate change related issues!

Natalie Richards I’m currently secretary of Climatable. In my spare time (jokes), I am an MSc student in Biology at McGill University. I focus on changing priorities in sustainability science, and utilize Futures Thinking techniques to connect scientific, public and political spheres in the context of policy-making in Canada. Ryan Gravel (check out his book - “where we want to live”) is one of my inspirations. From my perspective, climate action must link social, economic and environmental sustainability (check out the theory of Regenerative Sustainability)!
