This 3-hour workshop is an accessible role-playing activity designed to increase the motivation of individuals to take climate action in their personal and professional lives. Workshop participants act as representatives of different country delegations. Together, they have to come to an international agreement that will prevent irreversible damage to the global climate while protecting the interests of their country.

The workshop has been designed based on our experience of organizing 1-day simulations of international climate negotiations. Additionally, the workshop is aided by C-ROADS, an award-winning computer simulator developed by MIT that helps to visualize the negotiations outcomes by understanding long-term climate impacts of actions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

This experience give participants a first taste of climate negotiations focusing on broad themes. The quick three hour workshop allows anyone to live the difficulty of the negotiations and feel their importance without having to plunge into the complete complexity.
